2023 Winter Litter
Karbits Krystal- Photo soon
Krystal is a spunky standard, measuring 17 inches. Due to so many mini haplotypes in her code she cannot be run against Newman in Betterbred.  I attached a copy of that report anyway, for what its worth.

In prior litters, Krystal has produced red/apricot when paired with another apricot, as well as blue/black.  Krystal does not carry dilute that would produce silver, but she does carry cream.  Therefore it is possible that this litter will include cream/white puppies since Newman was blue and came from both silver and white parents.

Because Krystal comes from mini lines we are not surprised to learn that she carries CDDY, and in fact has two copies.  Thus every pup in this litter will be a carrier for one copy of CDDY.  Pups placed with breeders looking for diversity will be carefully screened to reduce future occurance of CDDY while maintaining diversity.  Most toy and mini poodles carry CDDY without negative impacts on their health.  She is not affected by the dwarfism (visibly short legs) that could accompany CDDY/IVDD.

Newman passed several years ago and no photos remain to share, although there are several photos of his offspring.

Newman was bred several times, including twice at Tudorose.  Luckily Jac was able to track down his prior hip results from an old computer.  His PRA, DM, and CDDY are all negative.  His hips were excellent and the PennHip results are attached.

Known as a "softer" male, Newman routinely gave in to more dominant dogs.  He was considered bombproof and only two known decedents remain in breeding roles in Canada.  His is a lost line and will offer much to diversity for future poodles.  He was successfully show in the International arena.

This is a full littermate to Newman, and is a very good example of what he looked like.
