Dog Adoption

We are not a dog rescue organization and cannot intake your pet.  However, we do assist rescue organizations through transport assistance and you can contact us to find a reputable rescue in your area.  Just like some breeders, some rescuers are not responsible.  Use your head with who you leave your dogs with.  If they seem sketchy, then they are up to something.  There is NO excuse for disorganization. 
(If you feel uncomfortable about letting a stranger into your home for a home check you should contact animal control or have a friend present.  There are many pets in need of homes, if you are having trouble with one rescue or breeder, move on to one that you can trust and work with.)


A clever webpage and title does not denote sanity or reliability in a breeder or in a rescue.  A reputable rescue will NEVER share your personal information or correspondence with others, or mock you online.  I have listed below some rescues with a good track record and are responsive.  If you would like information about a breeder you are best to start with the breed rescue. If you want information about a rescue organization than ask the breed club.

False animal organizations:

H$U$: The Human Society of the United States DOES NOT support the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless and abused animals.  They are a lobbying group that uses all funds received to pay attorneys and legislatures.  That money is NOT going to help an animal, it is going to politics.  Keep your assistance local and you will be helping the animals that need it. 
PeTA works closely with H$U$ to get a larger portion of the pet market.  PeTA, regardless of the naked celebrities that promote them, does not believe in "no harm to animals."  Their goal is to end all pet ownership, and to that end they are willing to lie, cheat and steal.
